This is my type of homework. I love my Color and Design Theory class! I can’t believe today was already my second visit to this class and my first project is due next week. Only a few more weeks, time sure is flying by already.
These are the projects I made for my entrance interview for FIDM. They were suppose to be done on paper, but I got a little carried away and went beyond that. I just like being crafty and just love thinking out side the box so I had to do a 3D view of my designs.
Working on my Computer Aided Fashion Design HW. Sigh. Basics this week. I need a color palette.

At FIDM, we have a Materials Room. Tons of stuff, donated by local companies and just really generous people. This room is filled with fabrics, swatches of all sorts, some included labeled fiber content, stones and such for the Vcom majors, upholstery swatches, buttons and trims, sometimes garments as well. Most of the goodies in this room is free for FIDM students to take. I’ve gotten yards of amazing fabric here before.
